Visualising the Knowledge Domain of Reverse Logistics and Sustainability Performance: Scientometric Mapping Based on VOSviewer and CiteSpace

Considering reverse logistics’ benefit for sustainability, it has gained significant attention as a strategic decision. Additionally, geometric expansion occurs in logistics and sustainability performance. Despite this, little been written about this evolution retrospectively. Therefore, study aims to conceptualise perform systematic scientometric review of performance identify research hotspots emerging trends offer suggestions future agendas by reviewing, retrieving, analysing 848 papers from the Scopus databases. Based on analysis, there was rapid rise number publications within domain, while, at same time, increasing interdisciplinary subject appeared. Furthermore, scholars institutions China, India, USA were most prolific domain. Mainly, current underscored some pivotal hotspots, such assessing effect different dimensions developing network. Moreover, include game theory, artificial intelligence, Industry 4.0, manufacturing industry countries, circular economy.
